LOOKS: Individually wrapped sugar-coated golden amber-colored rectangular “logs” that are convenient for tossing into a purse or backpack. Long, skinny, well-cured gummies that were not sticky.

AROMA: Slight sweet mango, natural mango smell.

TEXTURE: Can a gummy be buttery? After the sugar melts, the gummy itself has a soft, buttery texture that feels and tastes like a smooth, velvet-y Philippine mango, the BEST MANGO IN THE WORLD imho.

FLAVOR: Spicy! Very spicy and satisfying if you can handle the spice. I have a moderate to high spice tolerance, and I felt the chili heat. Love that this gummy is bold enough to go for a strong spicy level. If you like the Camino Pineapple Habanero gummy but want more spicy, this Spicy Mango gummy is it. If you can’t handle the heat, look elsewhere.

Paired with the chili powder is a smooth, sweet, floral Philippine mango flavor that dances in between the spicy heat. It feels like eating a dried chili mango, and I’m loving this edible.

EFFECTS: I ate one in the morning on my way to work a budtending shift. The effects started to take effect during peak rush hour as I quickly fulfilled orders. The high feels fat and fuzzy. My ADD is all over the place, and I’m rather unfocused and feel a slight grogginess, like I’m not fully awake yet. I’ve found a groove and a flow in the sea of people and paper bags.

A busy morning at the shop was perhaps not the best use of this high, which is more body relaxing and mentally euphoric. I felt clumsier and like I was moving in slow-motion sometimes.

This edible would be good for working on a creative project, sexy time, or relaxing in the afternoon or on the weekend – when you want to feel euphoric and relaxed.
