“You want me to put that where?!” Oh, girl! We have a new friend and she’s here for us at every stage of womanhood, meet Hello Again cannabis suppositories for menopause, for sleep, for monthly period symptom relief and even a version designed to kill a hangover after a night of overindulgance. I tested the “Period” suppositories, designed to fight cramp pain, help balance my mood, and find focus. Here’s my review!

As someone with the debilitatingly painful menstrual cramps I’m up for anything that might help. While my daily use of THC certainly helps, and “internal topical” - stay with me, something that absorbs internally like this - is of deep interest. I try to avoid OTC painkillers, opting to smoke herb instead, but sometimes will pop a few Advil if needed - which is what I hope to replace with suppositories.

There were two suppositories in the package I tested, I used one to start. Each “magic bullet”-shaped suppository contains one part THC to two parts CBD, each one has 10 mg of THC and 20 mg of CBD. There’s a pleasant scent when you open package; in addition to the Cocoa Butter, and cannabis extract, these are formulated with hemp seed oil, passionfruit seed oil, marula oil, pine needle extract, bergamot, rosemary, thyme, and lemon balm - all gorgeous botanicals for wellness.

There are clear directions included in the package, essentially you peel back the package like a little banana (try not to touch the suppository with your fingers because the warmth will immediately start to melt it), quickly take the suppository fr the package and insert the suppository deeply, like you would a tampon. It melts quickly so leakage might occur, I recommend a panty liner and laying down for a few minutes to allow the suppository to fully absorb. Last time I did this, I use the time to put one of those infrared masks on my face and checked my email - love a habit stack!

After about 20 minutes my cramps were genuinely less painful but not gone, I felt really nice too but felt no palpable headshift, so this product will be good for you if you need to have a clear head AND fight pain.

There are millions of neuro-receptors in the female reproductive system, and cannabinoids are estrogenic meaning they work more effectively when estrogen is present - makes total sense that cannabis is an excellent partner from the beginning of our cycles to and through their end.
