Moroccan Peaches by POET

Producer Owners of the Emerald Triangle (POET) is at it again with their grow of Moroccan Peaches - a Purple City Genetics creation combining Spanish Barbara and Lemon Tree Skorange. While Spanish Barbara is an heirloom with unknown lineage, the Cali O and the OG Kush that make up Lemon Tree Skorange showcase their cultivar’s lack of cookies influence.

This cultivar is known as a hasher, so for me to find it in flower form is pretty awesome and allows me a fuller picture.

I’ll try not to wax poetic on why cooperatives like this matter and how the community of local cannabis growers dedicated to regenerative practices as codified by Sun + Earth Certification allows the best quality flower to make it further in the market than an individual farmer can carry it. As the market has legalized, the distribution has centralized. The folks behind POET are aware of this, and stand as a proud counterpoint to the indoor facilities that pump out prose that doesn’t even rhyme and certainly didn’t involve sun nor earth in the growing process.

The Moroccan Peaches hits like Vegas Peach Bellini candies - super sour but distinctly pink peachy. The high is noticeably euphoric and smiley - an instant head change. I’d guesstimate that there are tropicannasulphur compounds in here and I can confidently say I like them.

POET’s Moroccan Peaches was my favorite flower I’ve tried from them so far, and I can absolutely see if being a hit far and wide. Not going to be surprised to see this cultivar run in Morocco - though I admit to having mixed feelings about that. Guess I have to smoke Moroccan Peaches and hash that out internally.
