CBD:THC SpaceDrops Gummies by Space Gem

If you’ve never tried any products from Space Gem, let me just tell you that you are MISSING OUT! From their Space Drops to their Gem Guice, everything I have tried from them has been fantastic. After returning home from a whirlwind weekend trip to Las Vegas that included non-stop Vegas action sandwiched in between two nine hour drives, I was in need of some pain relief, rest and relaxation. I had a tin of the Space Gem 1:1 CBD:THC Gummies, a product I had yet to try, and I decided this was the perfect time.
Each gummy contains 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD (along with small amounts of CBG, CBC and CBN) with ten gummies in the package for a total of 50mg of THC and 50mg of CBD. This review is based on my Minimum Effective Dose (MED), or the smallest amount needed to achieve the desired effect. While my THC MED currently sits at 100mg of THC, my CBD MED is much lower, due to the fact that I consume THC much more often than CBD. I didn’t really need to get super stoney from these, so I consumed eight gummies, or 40mg of THC and 40mg of CBD. If you are unsure of your MED, it is recommended to start with 5mg of THC, or one gummy. Wait at least 90 minutes for the effects to take hold, then incrementally add 5mg as needed. Remember, your MED may change as your tolerance gets higher or lower, and the amount of CBD you require to achieve the desired effect may be different than the amount of THC you require.
The package is an easy to open tin, and nestled inside are ten perfect little gumdrops sitting inside paper holders, reminiscent of a box of Valentine’s candy. Each tin comes with five flavors, two of each flavor. One of the really cool things about Space Drops is that no two tins are going to be the same flavors. There are five colors, and each color has 4-5 different flavor options, meaning there are 1600 different flavor combinations possible! While it is fun to try and decipher each flavor (the only one I was 100% sure on was lemon), it would be nice if each tin came with a little “answer key” to let the consumer know what flavors they got. The gummies are vegan, solventless and made with full spectrum ice water hash and whole cannabis flower. The aroma is very mild, although there is a sweet fruitiness present. What these lack in aroma, however, they make up in taste in spades. Each gummy is just a burst of sour and sweet fruity goodness. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about them! They are perfectly chewy, and they do not get stuck in your teeth. Each gummy has a light coating of sugar on the outside. The entire package contains 20g of sugar, which, while still a decent amount, is less than many other sugary edibles I have consumed.
I consumed the gummies around 5:30 PM, as my neck was extra sore and I wanted some quick pain relief. By 6:00, I was already starting to feel the pain subside as my body felt more relaxed. As I mentioned, my MED for CBD is much less than it is for THC, so while the psychoactivity was mild, the CBD definitely did its part. That’s not to say that I didn’t feel the THC, because I absolutely did. The psychoactive effects were very balanced and slightly euphoric (of course, the euphoria may also have been due in part to the pain relief I received). The duration of effects could have been a bit longer, as I felt my neck pain return about two hours later, but that could also be due to the lower dosage I consumed. For consumers with a lower MED, the duration of effects could be much longer. I would LOVE it if Space Gem made the same product but in 10mg/10mg doses rather than 5/5. Beggars can’t be choosers, however, and I will take what I can get!
If you are looking for a tasty and effective edible that will make your mouth water and your pain and anxiety melt away, then look no further than Space Gem 1:1 CBD:THC Space Drops. They’re delicious, they’re fun and THEY WORK! Because of the balanced effects of the THC, these could be beneficial any time of day. I wouldn’t necessarily use them for sleep, as there is some cerebral activity that comes with the THC, but the CBD helps keep any possible anxiety at bay.
